Celebrating 25 years, the annual Open Garden will be held on April 8 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Plan to join us to tour the rose garden and the cemetery.
- Walking tours of the Rose Garden
- History tour of the cemetery
- Cart tours combine history & gardening
- Hamilton Square Perennial Garden and the Native Plant Demonstration Garden will be open
More than 550 roses will be offered for sale. Many of these are rare and historical roses propagated from the garden. This year, we're featuring a number of climbing roses, suitable for trellis, fence or pillar, serving as great focal points in the garden. The catalog lists the roses we have multiples to sell. Note that the list of roses has roses that are ready for sale, including "onesies" and "twosies" that may drop off the list prior to Open Garden - not all may survive.
We will also have a silent auction and rose-related items (clothing, etc.) for sale.
The annual fundraiser is held to benefit the Historic Rose Garden - maintenance, repair and beautification.
